Six-Year Anniversary

It's been six years since the launch of the Magic, Swords, and Suns official website and shop!

Thanks for stopping by and checking out the game! In this post, I just want to provide a few quick updates on the game to celebrate six years.

So far, 2026 hasn't been as eventful as 2025, but there's still been some Magic, Swords, and Suns related progress in the last year. I've been talking about filming some starter deck match ups for a few years now, and while those videos haven't been posted yet, I'm happy to report that I have filmed 4 match ups in the last year. Once I get those edited, they'll be available to view on the YouTube channel for anyone who wants to see full matches between the currently available starter decks. I know that seeing actual gameplay makes it easier for me to understand the rules of a new game and explore new deck builds.

I would also like to create a few short videos showcasing some cool card combinations, deep dives into the effects of certain cards, and explanations of highly specific complex rulings. In addition, a major goal for the next year is to host more demo events at conventions or local game shops to continue spreading the word about the game.
